Wellbeing & Pastoral Care

At Shelley College our main priority is to do all we can to help our students in being happy and successful. This is achieved through excellent pastoral care, support and a curriculum that makes students feel safe, valued and able to engage in their learning.

I believe that the school's ethos of 'Valuing People, Supporting Personal Best', is particularly important when considering our pastoral care, and I strongly believe we do all we can to give students the best possible chance of being happy and successful both now, and in the future.

Our underpinning expectations of students and staff are simple, do the little things right; be respectful, be kind. Hold doors open for others, greet people with a smile and treat others how you would expect to be treated.

I hope this information shared in this section of the website represents our ethos and aims as a school to ensure you are confident that your child is going to be looked after and cared for during their time with us.
